WHITEWATER, Wis./MANKATO, Minn./MENOMONIE, Wis. – A trio of first years ran top-10 times in program history in the 200-meter dash for the St. Olaf College women's track and field team, which was in action at three different meets on Friday and Saturday.
First years
Evangeline Sappington,
Svea Frantzich, and
Eleanor Semple recorded top-10 program times in the 200 at the UW-Stout Quad on Saturday. Sappington finished fourth (26.57), Frantzich was sixth (26.63), and Semple took seventh (26.70) as the trio posted the No. 7, No. 8, and No. 9 times on the Oles' all-time performers' list in the process.

Annika Walsh was the runner-up in the high jump by clearing 1.58 meters (5' 2 ¼"), while senior
Abbie Manhard took second in the 800-meter run (2:23.00). Junior
Molly DiNardo was right behind Manhard in third (2:23.30). Sophomore
Abi Lindquist added a third second-place finish for the Oles in the one-mile run (5:14.83) to lead three Oles in the top five.

Arabella England traveled to Whitewater for the Midwest Elite Invitational 5K. Walda ran the No. 2 time in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season in her fifth-place finish (17:27.59).

Ashlyn Jore was in action in the long jump at the Ted Nelson Classic in Mankato on Saturday, placing third with a mark of 5.49 meters (18' ¼").
In its final meet before the MIAC Indoor Championships, St. Olaf will host the Tostrud Classic on Friday, Feb. 20, with field events starting at 5 p.m. and track events at 6 p.m.
