LA CROSSE, Wis./AZUSA, Calif. – Sophomore
Izzi Jaeckle recorded top-three program times in two events as members of the St. Olaf College women's track and field team were in action at the Phil Esten Challenge and Bryan Clay Invitational on Thursday and Friday.
Jaeckle closed in on the program records in the 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash as one of nine Oles who raced at the Phil Esten Challenge in La Crosse on Thursday. Jaeckle bettered her No. 2 standing in program history in the 400-meter dash with a fourth-place finish (56.98), while rising to third in the 200-meter dash with a 15th-place performance (25.29).

Alice Wagner-Hemstad added a personal-best time to place 21st in the 400-meter dash (1:00.52), while sophomore
Arabella England led seven Oles who competed in the 10,000-meter run by finishing 27th (38:55.63). England's time was a near 30-second PR as four of the seven St. Olaf runners posted personal-best times. The three others were all running in their first collegiate 10-kilometer races.
On Friday, senior
Isabel Wyatt and first year
Cora DenHartog represented St. Olaf at the Bryan Clay Invite, competing against runners from all three NCAA Divisions. Wyatt finished 128th (2:13.36) in the Invite category of the 800-meter run, while DenHartog was 87th (2:15.20) in the Open A category.
The next meet for the Oles is the Carleton Relays at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 19 at Laird Stadium.
