MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's and women's track and field teams accounted for 12 top-10 finishes at the Gary Wilson Invitational on Wednesday at the University of Minnesota Track & Field Stadium.
Competing in a field with all three NCAA Divisions represented, St. Olaf's men's team had seven top-10 finishes and the women added five more at the unscored meet. Ten of the 12 top-10 performances came on the track.

Izzi Jaeckle recorded the highest finish of the day for the Oles in the 4x100-meter relay with their third-place result (49.58). That time put the quartet as the No. 6 relay in program history and was the No. 10 performance in the event for the program.

Abby Frei cleared 3.41 meters (11' 2 ¼") in the pole vault to finish eighth with the fourth-highest clearance in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season. Senior
Claire Keech added a 10th-place finish in the javelin throw (31.88m, 104' 7") for the other top-10 result in the field events.

Ella Landis took fourth in the 1,500-meter run (4:47.96), while sophomore
Abi Lindquist was 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:44.96).

Kevin Turlington logged the top finish of the day of the St. Olaf men by placing fourth in the 1,500-meter run (3:56.59), a time that ranks second in the conference this season. Sophomore
Garrett Seppanen was 10th overall in the event with a personal-best time of 3:58.66, which ranks third in the MIAC.

Gavin Vogel clocked in at 50.35 seconds in the 400-meter dash to take fifth, while junior
Lex Kaye was sixth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:43.12). Kaye's time ranks third in the MIAC this spring.

Gavin Hoelzel's 10th-place finish in the pole vault (3.83m, 12' 6 ¾") was the lone top-10 result in the field for the Ole men.
St. Olaf will be back in action at the Dick & Mary Johnson Invitational hosted by UW-Eau Claire at noon on Saturday, April 25.
