NEW ORLEANS, La. – The St. Olaf College men's and women's track and field teams combined to earn four U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America accolades, as officially announced by the organization on Tuesday.
Four of the Oles' five individuals/relays who qualified for last week's NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships landed All-America honors, highlighted by two accolades for senior
Kevin Turlington. Junior
Max Albertson and the women's 4x400-meter relay were also honored.
Individuals and relays who finished in the top eight were awarded First Team All-America honors, while individuals who finished 9-16 and relays who finished 9-12 garnered Second Team All-America honors.
Turlington brought his career total to six All-America accolades by finishing third (29:14.15) in the 10,000-meter run and 13th (14:35.80) in the 5,000-meter run. His 10K finish was the highest in program history, as he was just the second Ole to compete in those two events at the national meet.
Albertson picked up a second All-America honor and matched the highest finish in program history by taking fourth (7.52m) in the long jump. The junior previously finished 10th in the event indoors in 2025.
St. Olaf's 4x400-meter relay of sophomore
Izzi Jaeckle and first years
Claire Stein,
Eleanor Semple, and
Cora DenHartog became the program's first All-America unit in the event outdoors with a 12th-place showing (3:47.56). St. Olaf's 4x400-meter relay of Kim Skistad, Julie Gyurci, Sarah Lueking, and Rebecca Rhodes took fourth indoors in 1987.
