NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The St. Olaf women's track and field team placed first in six events at the Manitou Classic on Wednesday.
Lisa Fisher won the 3000 Meter Steeplechase with a time of 11:44.72.
In the 1500 Meter Run,
Jena Moody placed first at 4:53.04.
Jordan Lutz ran a 2:16.06 in the 800 Meter Run to win the race.
The 5000 Meter Run was won by
Lauren Markowski with a time of 19:29.52
Jessica Bentley placed first in the Javelin Throw with a distance of 35.89 meters.
The Oles'Â 4x400 Meter Relay team of
Katie Elstad,
Johanna Glaaser, Lutz, and
Abby Stets combined to win the event at 3:58.89.
Bentley placed second in the Discus Throw (38.57 meters) and the Shot Put (11.56 meters).
Margaret Andersen led the Oles in the High Jump, placing third at 1.58 meters.
Next up for the Oles is the Janis Rider Invitational on Saturday.
