ST. PAUL, Minn. – Sophomore
Lucas Kramarczuk won the 100-meter hurdles and was the runner-up in the triple jump, as four members of the St. Olaf College men's track and field team competed at the Tomcat Twilight on Friday at O'Shaughnessy Stadium.
Kramarczuk claimed the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.30 seconds, two-hundredths of a second ahead of Carter Maack of St. Thomas. The sophomore's mark of 13.58 meters (44' 6 ¾") was good for second in the triple jump, trailing only Michael Wallace of Saint John's (14.02m, 46' 0").
Junior
Duncan Forbes took fifth in the 400-meter dash (52.53), while first year
Jacob Colich was eighth in the 400-meter hurdles (59.23). Sophomore
Sean Souksavath joined Kramarczuk in the triple jump and finished sixth (12.68m, 41' 7 1/4").
St. Olaf is in action at the Rider/Bolstorff Invitational on Saturday, May 1. Field events start at 9 a.m. and track events are slated for 11 a.m. at Macalester Stadium in St. Paul.
