TAYLORS FALLS, Minn. – Seniors Gabe Lessard and Parker Smith of the St. Olaf College men's alpine skiing team posted two top-six finishes apiece at the USSA races at Wild Mountain on Sunday.

In his first slalom competitions of the season, Lessard finished fourth (1:06.03) in the first slalom competition before placing fifth (1:02.63) in the second. Smith was right on Lessard's heels, placing fifth (1:06.51) and sixth (1:02.67), respectively.

First year Wyatt Shultz was also in action but was unable to finish one of the two runs in both races.

St. Olaf returns to FIS/USSA competition at Buck Hill in Burnsville on Friday, Dec. 23.
