BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Four members of the St. Olaf College men's and women's alpine skiing teams were in action at the Chuck Stone Memorial slalom on Wednesday at Buck Hill.

Seniors Gabe Lessard and Kaarl Damberg both posted top-20 finishes for the men, while sophomore Kate Young did so for the women. Senior Meaghan Stein also competed for the women.

Lessard recorded the top finish of the day for St. Olaf by placing eighth (1:02.09) and moved up from 10th after the first run (33.60) by logging the sixth-fastest second run (28.49). Damberg added a 16th-place finish with a time of 1:03.13 over the two runs.

On the women's side, Young put together a 15th-place performance in 1:11.52, while Stein checked in in 51st (1:18.02).
