MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Eleven members of the St. Olaf College men's and women's track and field teams began their indoor seasons at the M City Indoor Classic at University Fieldhouse at the University of Minnesota on Friday and Saturday.

Senior Andrew Cogley competed in the heptathlon on Friday and Saturday, while sophomore Alex Bjork, fifth-year senior Anders Cote, senior Andrew Skemp, junior Gael Manzur Strandlund, and junior Jack Deaver ran distance events on Friday night for the St. Olaf men. For the women, sophomore Aubree Klein was in action in the pentathlon, while junior Lauren Walda, senior Cate Gleason, sophomore Shannon Breuer, and sophomore Madelyn Tung-Mabry ran in the 5,000-meter run on Friday evening.
