NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Junior
Isabel Wyatt ran the top time in the country in NCAA Division III this season in the 800-meter run to highlight the St. Olaf College women's track and field team's performances at the unscored Ole Opener on Saturday at Tostrud Center.
Wyatt won the 800-meter run by over three seconds with a time of 2:13.46, which ranks second on St. Olaf's all-time list, in addition to being the top time so far in the country. The only Ole to post a faster time than Wyatt's is six-time All-American and St. Olaf Athletic Hall of Famer Megan Daymont Thomas '03.

Jules Fromm and junior
Kayla Sieck joined Wyatt in the top-five finishers in the 800-meter run, as the trio posted the top-three times in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season in the process. Fromm placed third (2:20.96) and Sieck was fifth (2:22.55) in the field of 15 runners.
First year
Willemijn Leiner claimed St. Olaf's other first-place finish in an individual event by crossing the line first in the one-mile run (5:24.20). Leiner's time was over two seconds ahead of the second-place finisher and just over three seconds ahead of sophomore
Siri Erickson, who was third (5:27.44).

Emma Storbakken raced to a five-second win in the 4x400-meter relay (4:12.45), as St. Olaf had the top-three units on the day in the event. Dauner, Jaeckle, Wagner-Hemstad, and Storbakken's time currently leads the MIAC.
Dauner, Jaeckle, and Storbakken added top-five individual performances to the relay win. Dauner was the runner-up in the 400-meter dash (1:02.24), while Storbakken (27.35) and Jaeckle (28.10) were third and fifth, respectively, in the 200-meter dash. Senior
Sofia Carlson recorded a top-25 time in the country in the 3,000-meter run by placing fifth (10:16.61).
St. Olaf will be back at the Tostrud Center for the St. Olaf Invitational & Multi on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 24-25.
