BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Five members of the No. 29-ranked St. Olaf College women's cross country team were recognized as part of the 2025 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Cross Country Awards on Thursday for their performances at the MIAC Cross Country Championships.
Senior
Lauren Walda and sophomore
Abi Lindquist were officially honored with All-MIAC accolades for their top-15 performances on Saturday, while seniors
Isabel Wyatt,
Molly Kate McCloskey, and
Ella Landis gathered Honorable Mention All-MIAC accolades for their top-25 showings. The quintet accounted for St. Olaf's five counting scores in the Oles' runner-up finish at the conference meet.
Walda became just the third Ole – and one of 16 runners in recorded conference history – to earn four All-MIAC accolades after placing fifth. The senior joined St. Olaf Athletic Hall of Famers Megan (Daymont) Thomas '03 and Emma Lee '13 as four-time all-conference honorees during their careers on the Hill.
Lindquist claimed her first All-MIAC accolade after finishing 12th, moving up from the honorable-mention list a year ago. Wyatt, McCloskey, and Landis placed 20th, 21st, and 22nd, respectively, to land on the honorable-mention list. Landis collected a postseason honor for the third season in a row, while Wyatt and McCloskey did so for the second consecutive season.
St. Olaf will compete at the NCAA Division III North Region Championships at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Whitetail Golf Couse in Colfax, Wis.
