MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Junior
Isabel Wyatt broke the 22-year-old program record in the 600-meter run for the St. Olaf College women's track and field team at the unscored Gopher Classic on Saturday at the University of Minnesota Fieldhouse.
Wyatt won the 600-meter run in 1:33.22 to surpass the previous record of 1:33.98 set by St. Olaf Athletic Hall of Famer Megan (Daymont) Thomas in 2003 by less than a second. The junior's time is the fastest in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season and broke the meet record by over three seconds.

Abi Lindquist posted a runner-up finish to a runner from the University of St. Thomas in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:37.56, which was an improvement of nearly 14 seconds from her time in the event at the Ole Opener in mid-January. Senior
Sofia Carlson added the MIAC's second-fastest time in the one-mile run this season (5:12.39) to finish as the top non-Division-I finisher in the event in ninth place.

Emma Storbakken both moved onto St. Olaf's all-time top-10 list at the meet. Nesseth cleared 3.07 meters (10' ¾") in the pole vault to move into a tie for 10th in program history, while Storbakken clocked in at 8.33 seconds in the 60-meter dash to also move into a tie for 10th.
St. Olaf will send competitors to the UW-Stout Quad and Midwest Elite Invitational at UW-Whitewater on Friday, Feb. 14.
