VAIL, Colo. – Three members of the St. Olaf College men's and women's alpine skiing teams concluded their seasons by competing at the Toyota U.S. Alpine National Championships on Monday and Tuesday at Vail Mountain.
Senior
Graham Barwick and junior
Kerem Haymana represented St. Olaf in the men's giant slalom and slalom races, while first year
Maia Andrews raced in the women's giant slalom and slalom competitions. The event featured the top skiers from around the country competing on one of the most challenging courses in the United States.
On Monday, Barwick finished 53rd (2:44.60) and Haymana was 56th (2:53.01) in the men's giant slalom. Haymana went on to place 49th (1:52.23) in the men's slalom, while Barwick did not finish his second run. Andrews did not complete her first runs in either discipline.
