NORHTFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College women's golf team concluded its season with a ninth-place finish at the St. Olaf/Carleton Spring Invite on Saturday and Sunday at Willingers Golf Club.
First year
Anneliese Carlson recorded her fourth top-20 individual finish of the season by tying for 13th to lead the way for St. Olaf, which was ninth in the 11-team field with a 36-hole total of 712 (+136). The Oles shot a 351 (+63) on Saturday and a 361 (+73) on Sunday.
Carlson paced St. Olaf with rounds of 82 (+10) and 80 (+8) to finish in the top 15 in the field of 69 golfers. The first year had all three of her birdies on the weekend on Saturday before carding 10 pars and eight bogeys on Sunday. Carlson concluded her rookie season with the top scoring average on the team, averaging 84.4 strokes over 18 rounds.
Sophomore
Solveig Senf posted the Oles' second-best score of the tournament with a 178 (+45), while four other Oles were separated by just two strokes. Sophomore
Marit Lyle was 52nd (187, +54), junior
Belle Mae Williams and senior
Kadyn Triebenbach tied for 53rd (188, +44), and sophomore
Ella Wright was 57th (189, +45).
