CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The St. Olaf College women's golf team posted a top-25 team grade-point average in the country, as announced by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on Wednesday afternoon.
In its first season under head coach
Brian Stevens, St. Olaf compiled a team grade-point average (GPA) of 3.740 to tie for 15th in NCAA Division III. This year marked the fourth time in the last six seasons that St. Olaf has been ranked in the top 25 and the fifth time the program has been recognized in the top 25 overall.
The team's 3.740 GPA during the most recent academic year was its third-highest among the five WGCA All-Scholar Team Awards St. Olaf has received.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition.
