Women's golf set for MIAC Championships in Edina

EDINA, Minn. – The St. Olaf College women's golf team will head to the 2026 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Golf Championships Friday through Sunday, Oct. 2-4 at Braemar Golf Course.

St. Olaf will compete at the nine-team, three-day, 54-hole conference championship looking to put a strong finish to the best fall season in recorded program history. The Oles will be part of the first five groups off the tees starting at 11 a.m. on Friday. Tee times for Saturday and Sunday will begin at 11 a.m. and 10 am., respectively, and pairing will depend on the previous day's scores.

Live scoring will be available throughout the tournament through Scoreboard powered by Clippd. Spectators are welcome to attend the event and must follow all local and spectator rules. The MIAC has a championship page that will be updated with all relevant information throughout the event.

St. Olaf's five-player lineup will consist of four first years and one junior: Aliyah Kleven, Amita Crowley, Sarah Dove, Lexi Fertig, and Anneliese Carlson. As the lone non-first year in the Oles' lineup, Carlson is the only one to have played at the MIAC Championships previously, finishing 20th in 2024 and tied for 27th in 2025.

St. Olaf is on pace to shatter the single-season record for team scoring average, entering the MIAC Championships with a four-player average of 313.0 strokes per round through four events (eight rounds). The four first years hold the four lowest averages on the team: Kleven at 76.6, Crowley at 77.9, Dove at 79.1, and Fertig at 79.6 Carlson is not far behind at 80.3.

The Oles' scoring average of 313.0 currently ranks fifth out of nine conference programs but is less than one stroke behind two other programs. Macalester College (303.0), St. Catherine University (307.0), Bethel University (312.1), and the College of Saint Benedict (312.8) are the four programs with lower averages entering the tournament.

St. Olaf has finished seventh at the MIAC Championships in each of the last four seasons and is looking for its first top-five finish since 2018-19 (fifth). The Oles have won the MIAC Championships on two occasions, doing so in 2011-12 and 2012-13.
