EDINA, Minn. – The St. Olaf College women's golf team fell two spots to seventh place during round two of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Championships on Saturday at Braemar Golf Course.
After sitting in fifth to start the day, St. Olaf dropped to seventh after shooting a 324 (+36) but remained in striking distance of three teams heading into the final day. The Oles were six shots behind the College of Saint Benedict, seven behind Bethel University, and 11 behind Carleton College.
Junior
Anneliese Carlson rose 13 spots up the leaderboard and into a tie for 21st with St. Olaf's best round of the day. Carlson had 14 pars as part of a five-over 77.
First year
Aliyah Kleven remained in the top 10 after shooting an 81 (+9), while first year
Lexi Fertig moved up a spot to a tie for 26th with an 83 (+11). First year
Sarah Dove also carded an 83 (+11).
The Oles will start their final round at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 4.
