NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Senior
Cullen Moore ran the No. 3 time in NCAA Division III this season in the 800-meter run for one of four event victories for the St. Olaf College men's track and field team at the unscored St. Olaf Invitational & Multi on Friday and Saturday at Tostrud Center.
Moore was left than half a second shy of Mark DeFor's 1985 program record in the 800-meter run, clocking in in 1:52.77 to lead five Oles in the top six in the event. Moore's time trailed only DeFor's on St. Olaf's all-time performers' and performances lists and is the fastest in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) this season.

Christian Fells turned in the No. 7 time on both St. Olaf lists with a third-place finish of 1:54.28, which ranks 16th in NCAA Division III this season. Senior
Lance Nemecek was fourth (1:54.37) with the No. 8 performance in the event in program history, while sophomore
Austin McInturff took fifth (1:55.37).
Senior
Kevin Turlington picked up a win in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:17.52, which is the conference's top time this season. The senior's converted time of 8:11.52 ranks 11th in the country, while the 8:17.52 is fourth on St. Olaf's performers' list and eighth on its performances list.
Junior
Max Albertson added a first-place performance in the long jump with a leap of 6.66 meters (21' 10 ¼") on his first attempt of the day. Sophomore
Rik Cumps was fourth in the event with a jump measuring 6.47 meters (21' 2 ¾").
St. Olaf's top 4x400-meter and 4x200-meter relays both ran top-10 times in program history. First year
Aidan McKeever joined McInturff, Moore, and Nemecek on the first-place 4x400-meter relay (3:23.55) that slid into 10th on both St. Olaf lists. First year
Tony Ali, sophomore
Jakob Eenigenburg, first year Abe Polzen, and Albertson were the runner-up in the 4x200-meter relay (1:32.29) with the No. 8 time on both program lists and the second-fastest time in the MIAC this season.
The Oles will head to the University of Minnesota for the Gopher Classic on Saturday, Feb. 7.
