NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's track and field team will head across town for the three-day Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Indoor Track & Field Championships Thursday through Friday at Carleton College's Recreation Center.
After finishing as the team runner-up last season, St. Olaf will aim to extend its steak of four consecutive top-three finishes at the meet, which will begin with the heptathlon at 2:20 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. The heptathlon will pick up on Friday at 10 a.m., followed by field events at beginning at 4 p.m. and track events at 4:30 p.m. Saturday's final session will start with field events at 11:45 a.m. and track events at 1 p.m.
TICKET/FAN INFORMATION
Daily tickets are required to attend the MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. All tickets will be sold and purchased online via HomeTown Ticketing.
There will not be cash sales at the venue; however, spectators can purchase tickets using a mobile device at any time, including while at the venue. Tickets are available for purchase on the
MIAC's HomeTown Ticketing site.
Single-day adult tickets will be $13, and student tickets are $4. (Note: additional HomeTown Ticketing convenience and credit card fees will be added during checkout, with estimated totals being $13.70 for adult / $4.43 for student per single-day ticket.) Children ages five and under do not require a ticket. Those eligible for student tickets include individuals currently enrolled in college, high school, middle school, and elementary school. Student ID is required where applicable.
No ticket will be required for Thursday afternoon's pentathlon and heptathlon events. However, tickets will be required for the full days of competition on Friday and Saturday.
Spectators traveling to Northfield are encouraged to review the

Fans unable to attend in person will be able to follow the action with live updates via
Fast Finish Results. Select track events will also be streamed live on the
MIAC Sports Network. Select field events will be streamed on the

EVENTS TO WATCH
St. Olaf heads to the meet with 15 top-five seeds in individual events, with 10 of the 15 coming in mid-distance and distance events.
In the 800-meter run, St. Olaf has five top-seven seeds, led by senior
Cullen Moore, who has been an All-MIAC honoree in the event in each of the last two seasons (2nd in 2024, 3rd in 2025). Moore is the No. 2 seed (1:52.77), followed by first year
Paxon Myers as the No. 3 seed (1:53.59), senior
Lance Nemecek as the No. 4 seed (1:53.83), and junior
Christian Fells as the No. 5 seed (1:54.28). Nemecek was also an all-conference performer in the event last year by placing third.
Senior
Kevin Turlington is the top seed in both the 3,000-meter run (8:17.52) and 5,000-meter run (14:20.28). Turlington has finished in the top three in the 3K in each of the last two seasons (2nd in 2024, 3rd in 2025) and was the runner-up in the 5K last year. Senior
Gael Manzur Strandlund is the No. 2 seed in the 5,000-meter run (15:11.58) and was third in the event last year, while junior
Alex Bjork is the No. 3 seed in the 3,000-meter run (8:43.77).
