ST. PAUL, Minn. – The St. Olaf College men's track and field team won three events and had four runner-up performances to finish second at the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic on Saturday at the Leonard Center on the campus of Macalester College.

Josh Charlton posted second-place finishes for St. Olaf. The Oles compiled 136.5 points to finish second in the team standings, trailing only Bethel University's total of 170.5 points.
Kramarczuk set the meet record in the triple jump, winning the event with a jump of 13.97 meters (45' 10"), which bettered his own fifth-best standing in program history in the event. The mark also ranks first in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and 19th in the country this season. Kramarczuk was also just two one-hundredths of a second off his school-record time in the 60-meter hurdles, placing fourth in 8.24 seconds.
Feist recorded the MIAC's top throw this season in the shot put by winning the event with a throw of 14.73 meters (48' 4"). The result bettered his own eighth-best standing on St. Olaf's all-time list and ranks in the top 50 in the country this season.
Martin led a 1-2 finish in the 800-meter run with classmate
Alex Bittner, winning the event in 2:01.44, which ranks second in the conference this season. Bittner was a little over a second back in 2:02.56. Coffey was one of four Oles to beat the previous meet record in the one-mile run, clocking in in 4:23.09 with the second-fastest time in the MIAC this season to finish second. Junior
Anders Cote was less than a second behind Coffey in third in 4:23.82, which ranks third in the conference.
Arnold and classmate
Layton Borst produced a 2-3 finish in the pole vault for St. Olaf, with both clearing 4.10 meters (13' 5 ¼"). Charlton added a runner-up finish in the long jump with a mark of 6.26 meters (20' 6 ½"), finishing just ahead of fellow sophomore
Eh Ler Moo in third (6.12m, 20' 1").
St. Olaf also had two top-three finishes in the relays, led by a runner-up finish from the 4x200-meter quartet of junior

Miles Townsend in 1:33.74. Bittner, Martin, sophomore
Jackson Marsh, and junior
Gabe Estrada placed third in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:36.02.
The Oles are back at the Tostrud Center for the St. Olaf Coed Invitational & Multi on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 27-28. The multi begins at 3 p.m. on Friday before the bulk of the meet begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
