NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Senior
Lucas Kramarczuk won the 60-meter hurdles and the triple jump for two of the St. Olaf College men's track and field team's four first-place finishes at the unscored St. Olaf Coed Invitational & Multi on Friday and Saturday at Tostrud Center.
Kramarczuk won his preliminary heat in the 60-meter hurdles in 8.41 seconds to advance to the finals, where he crossed the line first in 8.35 seconds to win the event by six one-hundredths of a second. The senior also had the top jump in the triple jump (13.75m, 45' 1 ½") to win the event by over one meter.
Sophomore
Cade Feist added a victory in the shot put for St. Olaf, which also won the 4x200-meter relay with the quartet of sophomore

Feist had the top throw in the shot put by nearly one meter, registering a mark of 14.97 meters (49' 1 ½"), which ranks first in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and in the top 40 in the country this season. The throw also bettered Feist's own eighth-best standing in program history in the event.
Arnold, Fisher, McNearny, and Townsend clocked in at 1:33.34 in the 4x200-meter relay to edge Saint Mary's University's unit by less than two seconds with a time that sits just outside the top 10 on St. Olaf's all-time indoor list.
First year
Zach Martin had one of six runner-up finishes on Saturday for the Oles, finishing second in the 800-meter run (1:59.50) with the third-fastest time in the conference this season. Arnold cleared 4.25 meters (13' 11 ¼") on his final attempt in the pole vault to post the third-highest clearance in the event in the MIAC this season and finish second.
Other runner-up finishes came from sophomore
Jackson Marsh in the 1,000-meter run (2:36.50), sophomore
Josh Charlton in the long jump (6.49m, 21' 3 ½"), and senior
Sean Souksavath in the triple jump (12.62m, 41' 4 ½").
Sophomores
Layton Borst and
Andrew Cogley competed in the two-day heptathlon and placed second and third, respectively, while breaking onto the program's top-10 list in the event. Borst broke into the top 10 in eighth with a score of 4,040 points, including winning the pole vault (3.90m) and shot put (12.19m), while Cogley was right behind with 3,992 points, including winning the 1,000-meter dash (2:46.23) and high jump (1.75m).
St. Olaf is next in action at the Gopher Classic at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, Feb. 4.
