Prior to Friday, St. Olaf's last conference champion in the 800-meter run was Megan (Daymont) Thomas '03 in 2000, but Wyatt changed that as the pre-meet favorite in the event. Wyatt, who entered the meet with the conference's top time of over six seconds, ran to a three-second win in 2:14.64 to become the first Ole to win an individual meet at the MIAC Indoor Championships since 2020. The title was the first individual conference championship of Wyatt's career.
In the final event of the night, Timmerman, Storbakken, DiNardo, and Abernethy edged Carleton College's quartet in the DMR by less than one second with a winning time of 12:30.19, which ranks seventh on St. Olaf's all-time list. Carleton was second in 12:31.06, but the remaining nine teams were all at least 15 seconds behind the Knights in what turned into a two-team race.
St. Olaf got a pair of 2-3 finishes on the track as well to add points to their team total. Senior

Lauren Walda took two of the three all-conference spots in the 5,000-meter run, with Bode in second (17:41.55) and Walda in third (18:02.85). Abernethy and senior
