Wyatt named Co-Track Athlete of the Year, 12 Oles honored in MIAC Indoor Track & Field Awards

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Junior Isabel Wyatt was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Women's Track Co-Athlete of the Year, as the St. Olaf College women's track and field team had 12 student-athletes honored in the 2025 MIAC Women's Indoor Track & Field Awards, as announced on Thursday afternoon.

Wyatt became the third different Ole to be honored as the MIAC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Year, joining St. Olaf Athletic Hall of Famers Megan (Daymont) Thomas '03 (2002, 2003) and Jayna (Mathieu) Paquin '99 (1996). The junior shared the accolade with Allison Hookum of Augsburg University after winning the 800-meter run (2:14.63) and 1,000-meter run (2:51.13) at last week's MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.

The first student-athlete to win the 800-meter run and 1,000-meter run at the MIAC Indoor Championships since Allison Kosobud of the College of Saint Benedict in 2014, Wyatt became the first Ole in recorded conference history to place first in those two events in the same year and just the second runner to do so since at least 1993. Wyatt's time of 2:51.13 in the 1,000-meter run broke the all-time MIAC record, as she became the first Ole to win two events in the same year at the MIAC Indoor Championships since Dani Larson '15 won the high jump and pentathlon in 2015.

Wyatt was St. Olaf's first 800-meter champion since Megan (Daymont) Thomas '03 in 2000 and the program's first 1,000-meter champion since Jordan Lutz '18 in 2018.
