BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – A record number of 101 St. Olaf College student-athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) for the fall 2025 semester, as announced on Wednesday morning.
St. Olaf reached the century mark of fall honorees for the first time, surpassing last fall's record of 96 Academic All-MIAC honorees. Women's soccer had 22 honorees, followed by women's cross country with 21, men's cross country with 20, volleyball with 14, and football and men's soccer with 12 apiece.
In order to be recognized, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, must have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, and must have completed at least one academic year (full-time) at the institution prior to becoming eligible the following year. Student-athletes must also be a member of a MIAC-sponsored varsity sports team, must be academically and athletically eligible, must have utilized a season of participation (per NCAA and MIAC definitions), and have remained on the roster through the conclusion of the sports season.
Of St. Olaf's MIAC-leading 101 honorees, 66 collected at least their second Academic All-MIAC accolade and 38 were honored for the maximum third time. This fall, St. Olaf led the conference in Academic All-MIAC honorees in men's cross country, women's cross country, and volleyball.
