Leslie Seymour was captain of the women’s cross country team in 1981 and women’s track and field team.  In 1982, she was named Most Valuable Player for cross country and track and field both years and was a four-year letter winner in both sports. A three-time All-American in cross country, she was the National Champion in the 1500m in 1981 and 1982 and was named Outstanding Athlete at the 1982 MIAC track meet and National Championships. After earning a degree in elementary education, she competed in two World Cross Country Championships and two Track and Field World Championships. She is pursuing a career in the medical field and lives in Minneapolis.
