St. Olaf College Athletics

Peter Fossum lettered in basketball and baseball and was a member of the first intercollegiate soccer team. He played interscholastic football for three years. He served St. Olaf as a baseball coach, physics department chairman, science division chairman, and dean of the college. He was a naval officer in World War I. He was president of Northfield City Council. Who’s Who in America. Received an honorary degree from Luther College.
