Hall of Fame
Nathan Bergeland, a four-year letter winner in football, earned NAIA First Team All-American Honors (1979), NAIA Defensive Player of the Week (1979), All-Conference Honorable Mention (1977), MIAC All-Conference (1978 and 1979), and MNIAC Defensive Player of the Week (1978 and 1979). Received numerous other awards, including the St. Olaf and St. Paul Pioneer Press Most Valuable Player and Ole Most Inspirational Award. Also lettered for two years in hockey (1976-77) and one year in track and field (1980). Currently is a regional director and owner of the regional office of Financial Network Investment Corp., and a steering committee member for Lutheran Social Services Safehouse.
