Kevin Jensen was the MIAC Most Valuable Player and an All-American in both of his seasons at St. Olaf, while helping lead the Oles to the NCAA Tournament in both 1998 and 1999.

As a junior, Jensen was a First Team All-West Region selection and an NSCAA Third Team All-American after tallying 31 points on 13 goals and five assists in 19 games. In his senior season, Jensen scored 22 goals and added 10 assists for 54 points in 20 games on his way to First Team All-West Region and NSCAA First Team All-American honors.

Jensen’s 22 goals and 54 points during his season season of 1999 are the highest totals in recorded program history.

Jensen is the only student-athlete in the history of the conference to earn back-to-back MIAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Year awards and is one of just two student-athletes to achieve the honor twice.

One of just two First Team All-Americans in program history, Jensen was part of the 1998 St. Olaf team that shared the conference title with Macalester. Over his two seasons, the Oles went a combined 32-6-1 overall and 18-2-0 in the MIAC, outscoring their opponents 55-13 in conference games.

St. Olaf cracked the top five in the national rankings in both of Jensen’s seasons, peaking at No. 3 during his senior season and No. 5 in his junior year.
