St. Olaf College Athletics

Paul Quam earned letters in football and wrestling. He was an All-American center on the 1954 and 1955 football teams. Quam was a member of the Midwest Conference championship team in 1953, and was named to All-Conference team all three years. He coached football for eight years. He teaches mathematics and physical education in Seattle public schools. Guam was a commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He is now active in church and community work and was president of his congregation.
