St. Olaf College Athletics

Allen Rice '58, the 1958 St. Olaf Honor Athlete of the Year, earned nine letters as a football, hockey, and baseball athlete. Rice was an All-Conference football and baseball player and captain of the hockey and baseball teams. Rice went on to coach hockey at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. His teams won two national championships during his tenure as coach.
