Hall of Fame

The St. Olaf College Athletics Hall of Fame, which inducted its first class in 1971, recognizes individuals and teams who have made lasting and significant contributions to the institution's intercollegiate athletics program. Currently, the Athletics Hall of Fame includes over 200 former student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and teams. Classes are currently inducted on a biennial basis. The first two teams to be enshrined were inducted in 2024.

Nomination Criteria
  • Any former student-athlete who has competed on a varsity team for a minimum of two years is eligible for nomination 10 years after that individual's graduation.
  • Student-athletes must have graduated from St. Olaf to be eligible for induction. Any individual may be nominated posthumously.
  • Nominees may include coaches, administrators, and other staff who have made outstanding contributions to intercollegiate athletics at St. Olaf. Coaches cannot be considered for induction while still employed in the athletic department and must be disengaged from their St. Olaf coaching responsibilities for at least five years prior to being considered for induction into the Hall of Fame.
